Comments by the Judges:

• Temperature trends over time was a nice problem to explore.
• One question posed was the table of the graph; this clearly focused attention on a specific problem.
• The lines were continuous for the month.

Suggestions:

• Time study could have been more complete; individual students could have been assigned to watch the news or get a newspaper on days that were not listed in the newspaper.
• The four "consecutive" days were not always recorded.
• More questions could have been posed.
• A better statement or purpose could have been made.
