Basics of Vectors in Mathematica

In Mathematica, vectors are defined as lists. The following describes the vectors (v1,v2,v3) and (w1,w2,w3).

In[1]:=

  v={v1, v2, v3}
  w={w1, w2, w3}

Out[1]=

  {v1, v2, v3}

Out[2]=

  {w1, w2, w3}
