Membership and Dues
Join Sigma Xi and share your enthusiasim for science with like-minded
colleagues. If you are already a member, please continue to support
our local chapter with your modest dues.
New Members
Membership in Sigma Xi is by invitation only. Those who have shown
potential as researchers are invited to join as associate members.
Full membership is conferred upon those who have demonstrated noteworthy
achievements in research. Eligibility
guidelines are available from the national organization. Current
members may nominate
individuals for membership.
Sigma Xi members are eligible to attend National Meetings, to apply
for Sigma Xi grants, to nominate new members, and to receive the
"American Scientist". National dues are $57 for regular
membership or $25 for student membership. Financial support for
the IUP chapter by the national organization is based upon the number
of current national dues-paying members. Both active and non-active
members of the IUP chapter are asked to contribute local dues of
$7.50 annually to help support local activities and projects.

Treasurer/Secretary by Monday, March 15, 2004.
