  1. Due Wednesday, March 3

    Required work

    1. Complete the "Order of Operations" homework worksheet.

    2. Complete the "Complement Subtraction" homework worksheet.

    3. Prepare for the midsemester exam

    Optional work

    • Compose substraction problems to illustrate how calculators subtract using two's complement and ten's complement. Vary the number of digits in the terms. Provide an answer key.

    • Revise past homework solutions

  2. Due Wednesday, March 17

    Required work

    1. Identify at least one mathematical software program that could be used to support the teaching of Mathematics at the elementary or middle school level. Please list the name of the software, the publisher, and if available, price per copy or price for a site license.

    Optional work

    • Provide reviews of the software program(s) you find. You can review the software yourself, or you can print reviews you find on the Internet or in other sources. Be sure to provide sufficient reference information.

    • Identify other mathematical software programs and provide the same information for them.

    • Complete the other optional tasks that are given on the assignments.
