   • Read the "Acceptance Sampling Assignment" handout

   Optional work

   • Repeat the "Biting Dogs" analysis assuming that being reported to Animal Control happened in the first stage and that those dogs reported to Animal Control could be either reported or not reported by a Victim or Police Officer in the second stage. Is your estimate of the population size the same? If possible, demonstrate mathematically that the answers must always be the same, regardless of which is thought of as the first stage and which is thought of as the second stage.
